The Torbay Hospital Radio Christmas raffle is back with lots of great prizes up for grabs. Funds raised will go towards buying more radios for the wards and other studio equipment.
Smoking on our sites
All our hospitals, clinics, sites and offices are smoke-free.
If you do smoke, or are supporting someone who does, please do so well off our premises due to high-risk areas such as oxygen stores, generator fuel tanks, waste compounds, plant rooms and the fire risk this poses.
If you vape, please be respectful and do so away from public entrances, open windows, and air/ventilation intakes and do not vape inside at all. Please can you also ensure that you do not put vape products which contain batteries into the dustbins as they can cause fires. Thank you so much.

New Healthwatch report highlights MS care challenges
Healthwatch in Devon, Plymouth and Torbay has published a new report: Experiences of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Care in Devon and Torbay. The report explores the challenges faced by people living with MS and reveals significant inconsistencies in diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care.

Cancer Patient Experience Survey
Did you receive treatment for cancer this year? Adults aged 16 and older, with a confirmed primary diagnosis of cancer, who have been admitted to hospital as inpatients for cancer related treatment, or who were seen as day case patients for cancer related treatment and were discharged during April, May or June 2025 are being invited to share their experiences to improve care.
The annual National Cancer Patient Experience Survey (NCPES) is designed to help improve the experience and quality of care for adults (16 years and older) being treated for cancer.

Important information about car park A, Torbay Hospital
The public car park near the emergency department at Torbay Hospital (car park A) will be closed from 10pm on Friday 28 November to 6am on Monday 01 December.
This is to allow our construction team to make improvements to our elective care and outpatient capacity.
Signs will be in place and wardens will be available to direct visitors to alternative parking, which is available at car parks B, C, E, H, J, and K – view our map to see where they’re located.
