Congratulations to Dr Helen Kimble, who received the SAS Doctor Award for Learning, Research and Development for 2025, recognising her outstanding contribution to clinical education, research, and improvement.
Last month we shared details of our SAS Doctors Award, and although Helen was unable to attend the event, Dr Rory Honney, our Deputy Medical Director, proudly presented her with her award.
Helen’s work continues to make a real difference to colleagues and patients, and we’re proud to celebrate her achievement.
Recognise great care by nominating someone for an Our People Award
World Kindness Day on 13 November might have gone, but we never think it’s too late to recognise the incredible kindness shown every day by our staff and volunteers. From a reassuring smile to a life-changing act of care, your compassion makes a real difference to our patients, their families, and to each other.
If you or a loved one have been cared for or supported by one of our teams, why not consider nominating them for an Our People Award, our staff recognition awards scheme which celebrates our amazing teams and colleagues who go above and beyond to make a difference in our community. Everyone who wins an award is invited to attend our annual celebration event in May.
