Making it easier for you to manage your health
We’re making it easier for you to view your health and care information digitally using a new app and website.
MY CARE holds your hospital and specialist community medical information in one place, giving you access to your test results, recent and future appointments and letters from us at your fingertips, helping you to easily check where you need to be and when.
And if you’ve been sent for a test, you’ll be able to read the results on MY CARE once they have arrived.
It’s safe and easy to use, giving you easy access to your medical information, 24-hours a day, seven days a week, and even when you’re away from home or abroad.
MY CARE complements the NHS app. The NHS app gives you access to information about your GP care, repeat prescriptions, vaccinations, organ donation and NHS 111 online. MY CARE gives you information about your hospital and specialist community care.
It’s already in place at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and being introduced in July at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust, so you can view any appointments you have there.
You can access MY CARE online using your tablet or via a mobile phone app from the Apple App Store or Google Play by searching for MyChart and searching for Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. Select MY CARE to complete your sign-up. From your computer, you can also sign up online and follow the instructions.

Car Park A temporarily closed this weekend for major crane lift
We’re continuing to make good progress on the next phase of our theatres refurbishment and the redevelopment of our Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) facilities at Torbay Hospital.
As part of this work, a large crane will be on site this weekend to lift new theatre modules into place — a key step in creating modern, purpose built clinical spaces for the future.
To carry out the lift safely, Car Park A will be closed from 5pm on Thursday 26 March until early next week. We’re sincerely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and want to thank everyone for their understanding while this essential work takes place.
To support patients and visitors during the temporary closure, Car Park D will be available for public parking and there will be a shuttle bus service running regularly between Car Park D and:
- the Women’s Health entrance
- the AMU roundabout (for Outpatients Level 2)
- the Main Entrance on Level 4.
You’ll also see traffic marshals and security staff on site to help guide people safely around the affected areas and to keep everything running smoothly throughout the weekend.
We know changes like this can make visits a little more complicated and we’re grateful for your patience as we continue improving our hospital facilities. These upgrades will support better care for our communities for many years to come.
For the latest updates and wayfinding information, please visit our website or speak to one of our on site team members when you arrive.
