Welcome to our September edition of Healthy Futures
The start of a new season provides a chance to look to the future. In my first six months as Chief Executive, I have been humbled by the determination of our people working in our hospitals and community services to provide the very best care for you and your loved ones. Every person I have spoken to talks about their motivation to provide safe, compassionate care that they’re proud to give, and would want their loved ones to receive; it’s something which really matters to us.
But we know there is still much more we can do to improve your experience, and I’m firmly focused on making sure that we are building our brighter future together. I want to thank everyone who recently shared their thoughts and ideas with us to help refresh our organisation’s strategy, we’re reviewing everything that was shared with us and will share our new plan with you as soon as we can.
We have much to be proud of and, and I hope you enjoy reading this edition of Healthy Futures. It contains lots of news and stories which celebrate our fantastic people who are all committed to delivering better care in Torbay and South Devon.
