Apply to join the class of 2026 and study for a BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing degree with the Open University. Study close to home and complete your clinical placements at our acute and community settings; perfect if you have family or caring responsibilities and you don’t want to commute to university.

Dr Carlisle honoured by the King
We’re beyond proud of Dr John Carlisle, our fabulous consultant anaesthetist who has been awarded an MBE in the King’s Birthday Honours List for services to medicine and patient care.
When John’s not providing first class compassionate care to our patients in Torbay and South Devon, he can be found working hard as part of a global network of super sleuths detecting fraudulent and fabricated research data to help keep everyone safe. We’re so proud of you, John, and we’re thrilled that your commitment to keeping us all safe has been recognised.
